Polis does not sell personal information, does not run behavioral advertising, and does not use payment or public status to change matching priority.

A citizen receives a deletion receipt after leaving Polis.

Data collected

Polis may collect proof-of-personhood status, onboarding answers, hard constraints, availability, gathering attendance, reflection outcomes, and payment tier state.

Data use

Data is used for safe onboarding, gathering eligibility, civic subscription access, aggregate evidence, audit logs, and deletion receipts.

No sale or sharing

Polis does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not expose public citizen profiles.

GDPR and CCPA rights

Citizens may request access, correction, portability, restriction, opt-out where applicable, and erasure under GDPR Article 17 and CCPA/CPRA consumer rights.

24-hour deletion

Deletion requests purge private Constellation, structured citizen state, direct-message ciphertext, and attestations within 24 hours; only anonymized aggregate counts may remain.
